Mixed Food Waste Processing

Mixed food waste are processed by ERS without pre-sorting, and converted to fertiliser. 

Processing capacity: 7,500 tones/annum

Fertiliser recovered: 1,800 tones/annum 

Cattle manure from dairy farm is processed with ERS to recovery biomass fuel, and mixed with RDF to generate  heat with the biomass boiler.

Processing capacity: 21,000 tones/annum

Expected Power Generation: 5.35 MWh/day

End-of-life Tofu products with packaging are processed with tofu production residual to produce high protein animal feed. Packaging are separated and recycled.

Processing capacity: 7,500 tones/annum

Animal feed recovered: 40 tones/week

Expected packaging  recycled: 75 tones/annum 

Rotten and misshaped potatoes are processed by ERS to recover organic resources for further production such as decomposing bags and starch.

Processing capacity: 8 tones/day

Expected resources recovery: 4 tones/day

* Video contains disturbing material, view with cautious. Pig carcasses are processed by ERS recovering fertiliser and separate bone from the fertiliser recovered. With pasteurisation process, product recovered is totally safe for land application.

Biosolids from water treatment plant and digest-ate from Anaerobic fermentation are processed by ERS to recover fertiliser with rich N, P and K value.
